Alex Fuchs
Since moving to Sydney from Switzerland in 2009, Alex quickly immersed himself in the Australian hairdressing industry. He has been part of Fashion Week shows in Paris, New York and Sydney. Alex has been finalist at the Australian Hair Fashion Awards for three consecutive years as NSW Hairdresser of the Year and Australian Educator of the year. In addition to directing Fuchs Hair, as a product brand ambassador and educator Alex travels all over Australia and Asia sharing his knowledge and creativity with salon owners and hairdressers.
Thomas Fuchs
Father to Rebecca and Alex, Thomas brings 35 years of industry experience. He is the co-founder of the family business and before moving to Sydney, he co-directed five successful luxury salons and one hairdressing academy. Thomas’s skills in precision cutting technique mean that his women’s short haircuts and men’s styles are second to none. As the former La Biosthétique Head Colourist in Europe he is also a highly skilled colourist, able to create beautiful hair colour as well as skilfully guide colour corrections.
Lauren, Senior Designer
A confident and experienced stylist, Lauren is an all-rounder; she delivers stunning multidimensional blonde colour work and precise men’s cuts. Lauren is also our in-house up-styling expert and she can deliver looks for special events that range from effortlessly stylish to simply glamorous.
Dean, Senior Designer
With an educational foundation at Sassoon Academy London, followed by years of experience at leading Newtown and Paddington salons, Dean has the technical ability to deliver flawless, tailored cuts. A creative with an eye for detail, Dean has worked on Melbourne and Sydney fashion weeks, as well as Myer and David Jones campaigns.
Colston, Senior Designer
Originally from the UK, Colston joins our team with 11 years industry experience and a gift for taking clients on a journey to uncover the best possible colour and style for their hair. While he is passionate about short haircuts and precision cutting, Colston is also equally skilled at colour correction, delivering stunning blonde and balyage work.
Jake, Senior Designer
With 15 years hairdressing experience in top salons in Melbourne and New Zealand, Jake knows how to bring the glamorous blow dries and the on trend colour. From natural, lived-in beige blonde to super bright and clean blonde, to shimmering coppers, Jake’s colour work is consistently impressive.
Parineeta, Emerging Stylist
A longtime team member at Fuchs Hair, Parineeta has now completed her training and is accepting clients. She is a meticulous and talented hairdresser, both in colour application and in styling. Her legendary, long-lasting blow dries can be beachy waves or glamorous volume, but are always stunning.
